right well my cars in on friday to get my remap

its standard at the moment but after a little read about ive decided the pd160 intake is definatly the way to go??

and is it worth fitting an air filter at the same time?

ive seen theres alot of arguements about the different filters am i right in thinking a green cotton panel is the way to go?

cheers

not much betwean the panel filters really, green/k&n are very similar matierals, and a lot of people will tell you the oe filter is fine anyway emoticon-0148-yes.gif

this question has been covered so many times. Worth doing if you getting a proper custom remap to have the pd160

The green cotton filter does not fit very well and some people on here have seen it slipping down into the airbox. A better performance air filter might give you an increase of 2bhp if you're lucky.

I did a review on the jetex filter about 2 weeks ago on here. It's only done like 10 miles and i already want to sell it. :giggle: It fits very well, but as a filter like the k&n it is terrible so be sure to change your oil more frequently..not once a year
