First Track Outing for Clio Cup

Featured Replies

Last Friday I had a bit of an outing at Bedford Autodrome. It's a long flowing cct. of 2.8 miles and all the time you need on track. Also I just the day before bought a set of track wheels with Yokohama Advan tyres which were great for grip on a track focused car as the Clio Cup is. The photos speak for themselves---

A bit of free instruction in an RS Twingo, Slow and wallowy.

Yes the car was composed OK, but I wasn't on some of the fast bends, a few OMG moments :whew:

And Bob who came with me :peek:

Looking good. Would love to take the 182 on track.

Fantastic. Great photos.

Nice one Bernie.

Shame to see the SSE retired from track work (who's going to provide the soot screen now?) but i'm sure the 182 is a much more capable and focused tool.

I'm sure I can steal it from Her Royal Highness now and again for the odd track day, At Coombe in April I said I was just doing the Show stand. :giggle:
