Well, you've come to the right place "a Skoda Forum". Welcome to the site.

First, I would do a search (using the button up there ^^^), read the sticky threads on the Octavia seection and /or the Technical Guides incase your problem is a common one . If nothing found start a new thread in the Ocavia section and I'm sure someone will help you. We are all a friendly bunch.

newbie here from down in Helmsley...

my problem is a juddering one its had a recon gear box , it judders when you put your foot down and if you drop from 4th to 5th the mirrors vibrate , need help asap as i love the car but this juddering is putting me off and i might go back to a scooby lol any help would be great thanks :'(
