? That was on BBC1 months ago on one of the traffic cop shows - he works on the m5, m42 hereford, gloucestershire areas. Strange why the bbc news should pick it up now

Lets just hope they use them to target the large number of foreign/continental lorry drivers that cause most of the accidents on our motorway systems.

The officer driving is often seen on the television programmes that feature the police, and he has a passion for stopping lorry drivers.

I read about this Months ago in Trucker Magazine, I wonder how quick it is as HGVs are restricted to 56mph, (supposed to be), even though the speed limit on Motorways is 60mph, if it is creeping up on people must be set at Motorway speed.

Would be interested to see what speed they are limited too,

Might be easy to spot, do they have a trailer hitched up? If not, there are not too many tractor units running solo.

It has no limiter on it, seen it a few times, now got to hope it catches all them buggers watching tv!!!!

Little easy to spot a silver cab with no load and two people (one with a camera) in it.

If you're alert enough to spot the cab, you're probably not breaking any law anyway.

Most people driving while on the phone/reading a paper at the wheel/having a drink/eating are oblivious to whats going on around them anyway. The ONLY reason they're in a truck and not a car is so they can see into the other trucks Cab.

lol "campin stove to cook a meal" :giggle:
