These photos were taken after a 30 minute walk on a National Trust area near the coast. 26.5 degrees so the Yeti said. Damn hot if your designed for harsh cold Siberian weather lol (hence the panting, even after a long cool drink by the car!)

Our 1st lease car, 1st Skoda and 1st SUV/Crossover type vehicle. Loving the 110 2.0 CR TDi 2WD SE in Aqua blue so far. I would have posted sooner but been so busy with work, decorating bathroom etc.

I was a bit shocked after first seeing it delivered, as I drove back home seeing it parked outside the house and thinking how small it is! Used to having a full size people carrier but slowly getting used to the smaller Yeti dimensions.

The 110 engine is great around town, but found it's 'weak' spot when fully ladened ( 2 adults, 3 kids, 2 dogs, picnic etc) when driving on the motorway, as I felt it a bit lacking in midrange. However the engine's done less than 300 miles so far and I am sure will improve over time. I agree with other comments made about the rear view mirror, it's set way too low. Generally a cracking car and would highly recommend the 110 2WD!!

Nice photo's - nice looking dogs.

Thanks for an excellent post; they look quite at home in there :)

Engine will free up and improve within the first couple of thousand miles, if it follows the same pattern as mine.

TP

Sweeet, Are they a factory option?

Nice looking car too

For me it is the opposite! When I clambered around the last one I saw at the Motor Expo in London I was shocked at how huge the Yeti was! But then I'm coming from a 3,8m long and pretty narrow Audi A2! emoticon-0140-rofl.gif But it was all put into perspective in this month's CAR magazine when the writer stated the Yeti is both shorter and narrower than the current Ford Focus but both wider and longer than the first Focus. So squarely a Golf-class car on an exact Golf VI wheelbase. Perfect.

what lovely woofies!!

... and they look to fit fine in the boot!

Great to see your Snow Monster ...when you've got time it would be helpful to other potential owners with 3 children to know how you get on with your Yeti re space with smaller middle seat and boot capacity for all the paraphenalia etc...as there has been some discussion about this in the past.

best wishes for lots of fun in your Yeti- has it got a name?

Thanks ernieb, they attract quite a bit of attention, as does the Monster! I've had 3 parents at the school asking about it and a few people using the restuarants near where i live looking the monster up and down..

I agree wholeheartedly TP - I find the Mazda quite sluggish around town driving, in comparison. The mpg is very good even now!

Shrub - I opted for these 2 instead of the cuddly toy :giggle:

900000 - I guess like you say it all depends from what you are used to driving. I feel the Yeti dimensions are just about right. From the onset my wife and I set out to find a car that was both smaller and more economical. I've been caught out a few times in the Mazda in tight parking spaces and it's a relief having a smaller car with parking sensors too, you can't really go wrong lol.

Lady Penelope - They do fit in the boot and we can also get a picnic bag etc in there too. I keep asking my 3 girls if they are comfortable in the back and so far no complaints. It was a bit of a squeeze last sunday though, fitting in 3 lots of horse riding gear too! Apparently the Yeti's 3 seats width is approx 120cm, about 18cm shorter than the Mazda. I just hope the girls don't grow wide shoulders :giggle:

Yeti has no name yet, but maybe my kids can come up with a name?

Take care
