EGR delete / bypass

Featured Replies

Talking with my Dad the other day, mentioned my EGR was leaking a bit and would need replacing.

Told him about EGR deletes and bypasses and he raised an interesting point.

If the car is tested when built with the EGR, wouldn't removing it technically void it's car tax classification band?

Just a thought open to conversation..

It wouldn't void it any more than any other form of tuning or modification.

Yes it's a mod and all mods must be declared.
