Poor mpg and boosting issues

Well i dont really know if all the air leaks are sorted. They spent 4 days on it and found one large one at the map sensor and the boost gauge itself was leaking!! but after alot of tests and logs found the ecu to be backing the boost off via the brake ecu for some reason and the n75 is still pulsing like crazy.I did notice before i took it there that the forge hose that fits onto the turbo via a jubilee clip was tight but you can still pull it off? The n75 is being"told" to do strange things via the ecu so im told and they tried to remove the map to see if that was the issue but its encrypted  and would need to go to the place it was mapped to be removed which as im the second owner since the map is hundreds of miles away :wonder:

A loan of a standard ecu minus immob would be great if its possible.

Well I'm afraid your map being "encrypted" is total rubbish, and you could have it put back to standard anywhere (that knows what they're doing).

I can arrange an ECU for you, if you'd like to give me a call on Monday.

Ok will do.If its the map on the car and fitting the spare ecu cures the surging then could i send my ecu down to you to have it mapped with your software and the old map removed?

Ive now had the sts loaded onto the car with the stage 2 software.Went for a drive half expecting to still find it surging but it drives like a standard vrs only a bloody bit quicker :giggle: Boosts to 20psi and sits there until your right up the rev range.Much quicker than the "custom map" before.Massive amount of torque across the whole range with epic torque steer and traction issues ( its raining at the moment).I would say that once i get traction its as quick as my 300bhp classic scoob was.Rolling road is next to see what she's punching out and until then she getting v power+millers B)

Big thanks to Autotechnik and especially Ben @ shark performance.Great company to deal with and hope to do business again.

Mine doing this exact same thing. I've checked all leaks, plugs, filters etc Boost is all over the place. Mines remapped by Celtic... Shall I just go ahead and get it remapped by either Shark or R-Tech to fix this issue?
