what sort of preparation is required to the grille prior to spraying? Must be a job to work the chrome down

is there a replacement grille part you can buy just primed to suit the FL?

Im sure theres a thread on here about experimenting with this and soaking it in bleach overnight cleared the chrome off

okay thanks. I will getting a bodyshop to do it so didn't wanted to take it to them in a state ready to paint rather than them having to have the car for 2/3 days because they had to prepare it

much as i like the idea of anthracite skoda alloys on a white car...those black aftermarket types are not my cup of tea im afraid...they look totally out of sync with the car on the demo pic....sorry

that white grill looks good tho....

cheated with the Leon and brought a black Cupra one!

Anyone have the FL vRS grill part number ? Might be easier to take my time preparing one off the car and drop it off for spraying rather than losing the car for a day or two.
