Front bumper re-styling.

Featured Replies

Does anyone else find the lower edge of the Octy's front bumper catches and scrapes everything ? I've had the car for just 3 weeks now and have managed to re-style the lower edge several times.

Once on the pavement outside my house, not the kerb but the actual pavement! Was coming straight into the driveway and as the front wheels went down into the gutter the bumper scraped the pavement, this was a move I'd done in my 2 previous cars with no trouble.

Second time was on a speed hump, well actually the road after the speed hump, car went over the hump, front wheels got back onto the flat and the lower edge hit the floor.

I had considered lower the car and fitting a new bumper ut my experience is telling me that's not such a good idea.

We've all done it, if you look at the lower edge on any octavia it's nearly always been caught.

Even my 4x4 has done it.... maybe worth trimming that "vertical" edge off it.

Could it be humanly possible that the 4x4 suspension isnt high enough???!!!!

Also happens on the baby vRS :D
