Hi everybody,

my octavia mk 1 came without such hooks and the dealer can only provide them for octy 2

can anyone confirm if they are compatible?

any other ideas for a fix?

As a matter of interest,why would anyone want to" hang" items in boot?

They don't actually hang, normally they are the right height so you can hook a shopping bag on them and the bag sits on the floor, very useful - in the Superb at least.

I saw this in a fabia3 loan car I had. Handy if your bag is full of items which don't pack very well - say apples, oranges, etc, where as if the bag was left sitting on the floor it would easily (and very quick;y) dump its load as soon as you went around a corner.

My sisters Mk1 Seat Leon has got one - you might be able to buy one from Seat and screw it on, although depends on the height of the parcel shelf from the boot floor
