Hey all,

I have just moved down Cardiff and i need to put my vRS in for a minor service. I have had a quote from White Dove who want £177 which seems rather excessive for a Minor service! Plus it only had a Major service 4 months ago!

Does anyone know of any good specialists in the Cardiff/Vale area? I'm in North Cardiff so going over the hill is not problem either!

4 months? I wouldn't of thought you need a service so soon. If you just want the oil changed then why not do it yourself.

i have done just over 11k in the 4 months, so it really does need a service! At the moment i'm doing just shy of 800miles a week :S so i would rather get the whole car checked over at the same time

Plus i wouldnt have a clue where to start to change the oil myself :S

Minor service consists mostly of checking levels and all things in general, depending on mileage, oil change & filter. DIY recommended if confident enough?? if not, now's the time to start. LOL

No special tools needed, 19mm socket for sump-plug, 32mm six-sided socket for filter cap.
