Fuel release lever: plastic cover

Featured Replies

Hey all, so I've got my hands on a 2000 Fabia 8v, in good condition, but just need a few little things to make it better, such as new badges (have worn away to black discs), new wheel trims and as the title mentions, I also need a new plastic cover that goes over the fuel cap release lever so I don't have to hurt my fingers on the bare metal. I have looked on eBay and searched on websites specialising in parts but no luck. Does anyone know of a good place to get one other than a breakers yard?

Thanks.

You can get all those parts from a Skoda garage. :) Just try and find out the part numbers.

In that case does anyone know the part number for this, I can't find anything even related on the internet. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong places.

Can't you just phone your local skoda dealer and ask them? I've called up for part numbers and prices etc. a few times, always been helpful

Ok thanks. It didn't cross my mind to speak to Skoda!

Badges are always a bit pricey from dealer or anywhere else for that matter,

I got a couple of bnib genuine skoda

grille/tailgate badges from ebay for £2.50 in an auction....

But I've found the main dealer very handy for small plasticky parts and the like.

Surprisingly cheap too. I had to replace the 24inch long piece of trim that

hides the join where the rear of the roof lining finishes.

Amazingly it was 6 pounds!!!

Thanks for the info. Badges are quite easy to find online, but I'm having real trouble finding the part number or a place that sells the fuel release lever plastic cover, and also the rotating dial on the air vent located in the glove compartment. Hours of internet searching have been fruitless.
