Yeah had to put a new clutch in last months (sachs performance) doh!!!!!

nice lookin motor. ive just had some spax springs taken off mine.. it looked really well but it was just too low! took it down about 35 - 40mm....

Struggling to find anywhere exactly what oil type my engine should be using. The owner manual says "ask a specialist garage for the correct engine oil", which is bizarre - can't the manufacturer of the vehicle just tell me! On a previous with a dealer, they put in "Edge Prof LL IV 0W-20". I've just had a service via the RAC today, and they gave me the remaining oil in the tub, and I've just noticed it's "0W-30" and also says "VW 504.00/507.00" specification. So, I'm assuming one of those t

Hi .As the title really,no air comes through the face vents despite trying a recalibration several times. Is this something an interactive ( right description?) code reader can check? If the flap actuator has failed I shudder to think how inaccessible that might be! Thanks.

Fanbelt squealing 2.0tdi, is tensioner spring broke?

I just put a new Alternator clutch on my2.0tdi CFFB but the new belt is squealing. The tensioner was new a year ago, but doesnt seem to have the tension needed all the time. It can feel loose, or feel ok but starts squealing . When you move the tensioner bolt, it feels like it is catching and needs pushing back into position. Is something broken? Is there an easy fix or do I just put a new tensioner in? (I know how difficult it is to do)
