Tyre wear

I changed my Fronts last weekend, the removed contis had covered 25K miles. Now running on cheapo Event Tyres on the front, initially noisy but I tracked that down to some small bumps in the tread blocks from manufacture. Now they have worn off they are quieter than the Continental tyres that were removed. Rear tyres still have loads of life in them, maybe the 4WA I had done when I got the car have helped them last better than most on here.
