Hi could anybody explain what these foreign numbers mean in relation to psi? Or does anybody know the correct psi for the 1.4 8v furb? Here's a pic of the table they provide on the fuel filler cap. :wonder: >

kPa to PSI converter here

Mine is completely different it gives the pressure for both Bar and PSI. Also it gives different readings for different capacities. How old is the car? Mine is a 2004. It says my front should be 2.2 Bar and rear 2.1 Bar (for a standard driver with passenger and luggage, i.e. not full capacity).

Garage air pumps can be set to work Bar rather than PSI too so no problems there!

Hope that helps!

Simon, I went to do my tyres today and wondered exactly the same thing!

So how would one know whether the car is 50 or 55kW?

Umm I would suggest that you use that converter that softscoop kindly provided. Our car is the 55kw I believe because its 68 bhp aprox. I've just left my tyres at 29, seems to be ok. Thanks everyone

If you're not sure, you can always look at getting a replacement sticker - maybe the current ones have it in Bar and PSI like mine does..? The one on mine had completely lost all of its writing - cost < 50p from TPS, so you should be able to get it from a dealers...?
