My sat nav doesnt have a mains charger so need my cigarette lighter to be working and its not! Any ideas guys?ideally need it for tomorrow too!

Have you checked the fuse?

Silly question, where is the fuse box on the fabia?

open the driver door then its where the door meets car, you see a little hole you shove a screw driver in to get the panel out

No. 42 fuse is the one you want (15 AMP)

This happened to my Octavia recently and the fuse box on that is in same position!! Just remember that the diagram in the handbook is back to front as is laid out for a left hand drive car!!

Problem solved.

Are you sure it's the ciggie lighter and not the sat nav fuse? I had this and thought the socket fuse had gone but it was the little fork fuse in the charger had come loose. Have you tested anything else in the socket?
