My Fabia VRS

Featured Replies

Decided to keep it until i'm in a better job and my mrs is back at work so we can sell it and the run around and get what we both want

So heres the Fabia as it sits now after a scrub. Got a few more things i wanna do to it namely fly eyes tint on the headlights and rear lights. And do the wheels black, paint the chrome grille body colour as i don't think it'll look good black and get my rear arch resprayed as it's been scratched since i got it and i touched it up with a peugeot silver which doesn't match lol. Didn't bother me at the time but annoys the life outta me now

The specs in my sig :)

Think when the lights are tinted i'll probably do that or paint it black, but really need to see what happens. Would ideally like to paint the roof and mirror covers Black aswell as always liked the Black and silver look

Might be time for the old photoshop to get used again lol

hey the looks great :) i love silver :) how to you go about spraying the black strip up the side of the car? thanks, jordan :)

Dunno tbh, kit can go down to 120mm it's TA Technix from ebay but the price i paid off a friend as he bought them brand new and never fitted them to his Polo, i wasn't gonna pass them up

Rough guess is it's 80mm

nice car

Ordered some fly eyes the other day and the guy who does my window tinting offered to fit it for me so i headed up after work tonight and omg what a difference and what a job! It's flawless not a crease or an error! The stuff is really good quality and fairly easy to use aswell. I got all this done out of less than 1 piece of it. But thats because we used it sparingly. It still allows full light through due to it's design but even with holes perforated into it it still looks like this. It comes in different colours too, i was gonna do yellow fogs but Mark (tinter) talked me out of it as it's too common so he just done them with the black

Done the headlights, front fog lights and the clear rear lights bit

Heres the pics including 50/50's

Emm can't mind tbh, was the smallest one they sell buddy and it was £15 posted to my door iirc

BMC doesn't make much difference with mines being a diesel, it makes the engine a tiny bit louder but if anything it just aids air flow. I have an old picture, it's set up slightly different than this now

thanks for that if you dont mind where did you order the fly eye film from?

Thanks aaron

She's looking good!

looking good mate !! love the fly eye's !! really wana do that to mine !! going to get my windows tinted first tho !!

How does it manage to let full light through - surely anything you put in front of the glass has to block out some light? Interesting they say it complies with MOT regulations - anyone tried getting a car through a test yet?

It's perforated so the light cancels out the fly eyes, drove it at night to check for myself and no reduced visability to report

I fully realise it's perforated - but even a perforated sheet has only approx 50% free area - hence the light output MUST be diminished. It would be interesting to test it with a proper light meter.

It's advertised as being fully MOT compliant etc, i have HID's aswell so i won't notice much difference in light output really. Maybe if you ran it with normal bulbs it'd reduce it slightly but with my HID's i noticed no difference at all
