Right-oh chaps, I have a few questions for you!

• Can I use petrol lowering springs on a dieseseasl?
  
• is fitting the ARB from a caddy cheap and viable handling upgrade (think teflontom did this?)
  
• does anyone have a sump guard for a felicia?

Springs - not really, the engine is a LOT heavier, so it wouldn't be a great idea. You'd need something stiffer.

ARB - yes.

Sump Guard, what are you looking for? A full or half one? Metal or composite?

That's a bit of the bummer on the springs front :'( as springs for the diseasel are much harder to come accross and generally more expensive.

Cheap and cheerful was all I was after from the sump guard, as long as it... errr... guards the sump? I've already succeeded in bending the factory fitted guard thingummy (I forget the right word for it) you see :wonder:

EDIT - undertray! that's what I succeeded in bending!

Standard undertray is a splash guard, nothing more!

You can make a sumpguard easily enough with some sheet steel and some angle iron. I doubt you'll get anything else cheap and cheerful unless you find someone breaking a rally felicia with one on. I'm keeping all mine, I'll need 'em!
