Felicia diseasel questions

Featured Replies

Right-oh chaps, I have a few questions for you! :giggle:

  • Can I use petrol lowering springs on a dieseseasl?
  • is fitting the ARB from a caddy cheap and viable handling upgrade (think teflontom did this?)
  • does anyone have a sump guard for a felicia?

I was considering getting some sort of cool car, but then I thought - I am poor and I have the felly D so...

muchas gracias for help and opinions

Springs - not really, the engine is a LOT heavier, so it wouldn't be a great idea. You'd need something stiffer.

ARB - yes.

Sump Guard, what are you looking for? A full or half one? Metal or composite?

Cheers for the quick reply

That's a bit of the bummer on the springs front :'( as springs for the diseasel are much harder to come accross and generally more expensive.

Hoorah on the ARB front :D

Cheap and cheerful was all I was after from the sump guard, as long as it... errr... guards the sump? :giggle: I've already succeeded in bending the factory fitted guard thingummy (I forget the right word for it) you see :wonder:

EDIT - undertray! that's what I succeeded in bending! :smirk:

Standard undertray is a splash guard, nothing more!

You can make a sumpguard easily enough with some sheet steel and some angle iron. I doubt you'll get anything else cheap and cheerful unless you find someone breaking a rally felicia with one on. I'm keeping all mine, I'll need 'em!
