Not because I want to, the car is truly amazing but it looks like we are having a baby  and there is a chance I maybe made redundant in the near future :(

If you do decide to sell, I may be interested

Sent you a PM mate.

I've had a black VRS for the last 2 years & it's a nightmare! It looks amazing when polished, but within an hour it's always covered in a layer of dust! It also shows up scuffs, chips & scratches really badly.

I've ordered my new one in Anthracite, I've never seen one on the roads & it's even really hard trying to find pictures of one on the net!

Congratulations on the impending new arrival and sorry to hear about the redundancy, hope everything goes ok..

Anthracite is tempting, would love to see one in the flesh but they seem to be very rare..... is that cos its a new colour or cos it doesnt look that good?

It's a new colour to the vRS but it's been available in other trims for a while.

Anthracite is a nice colour and looks very discreet (maybe why you have not seen one because you just did not notice it!!!!) The only issue I have with it is that it just looks a little boring and is quickly becoming the new silver with a lot of these greyish coloured cars appearing.

Really liking your 'boring anthracite' mate........

Hoping to get it ordered this week, coming from a renault where you expect a significant discount, what can i expect to achieve above and beyond what is already a very good offer of VAT and 0% finance?

Here's where the dealer should aim to beat - but often can't!

A few of my boring Anthracite Grey vRS:

I did say it was a nice colour but for me it is a bit of a safe/boring colour. A bit of an 'accountants' colour!!!!

Colour is a very personal thing and as long as you like it that is all that matters really.

If we all liked the same colour then the world would be a very boring place.

:giggle: Well the 182 was blue and the r26 is black, so maybe time for a change.

In my experience, most dealers won't haggle much off the VAT-free price, suggesting they only get a margin of 1% on vat-free cars.

However, there are a few out there who will - but it does depend on timing and their sales volumes.

If you get within a few hundred pounds of the Drive the Deal price, you've done ok.
