VRS Pics

Featured Replies

Well have to say i'm currently very tempted by a VRS but struggling to work out which colour to go for, I'd be very grateful if anyone has any pics of their cars they can post, torn between black, white or blue at the min.

(Apologies if there are some pics in other topics i did have a quick search.)

I can post a black VRS MK2 FL in a couple days when I take delivery (car just been unloaded off transporter at garage).... but there are a few posts with pics already you just have to dig deep.

Personally if it's your first then I'd go blue.

It does look great, got a black r26 at the min so may be time for a change colour wise.

Thanks for all your help, much appreciated.

Has anyone got / seen the full leather, the standard seats actually look very nice, just wondering with a newborn if some easy wipe clean leather may be worth while :D

here's my white one, with painted grille surround.

Hi

Sorry for being so prompt -

White will so the dirt

Scratches on black stick out like a sore thumb and shows the dirt

Got to be blue - reminds of Sonic the Hedge colour.

Regards

Paul.

That will depend on how you clean them, white required a cover of white spirit every few months before a good polish, black needs more tlc and a good quality polish to keep the scuffs away, Blue......... 9 times out of 10 every VRS you see is blue

So far in my history of VRS’s I had one black MK1 and one blue Mk2 and now I’m going back to black so that might tell a tale.

black shows stone chips and dust/dirty film

White doesn't show stone chips or that dirty film you get over cars, it does however show dead flies and tar spots - you have to look close for these though.

It's all a matter of personal choice and whichever one you get the only time you'll really notice the colour is when you walk up to it to get in it.

yeah i've noticed on the GF A3 Convertable that white starts turning off-white without a good go over in WS and a polish. You dont really notice it until you start cleaning and step back and look at each panel. I've also noticed that the back of her car gets dirty very quickly, still keeps me busy and it's looks really good when clean.

Takes ya pick:

Thanks for all the pictures, more confused, but the pics are great.

think it either grey, blue or white for me with the leather. Is there any other options you guys would say are a must have?

Thanks again for everyones help

They...come...in...yellow! wooow, thats awsome, i want one next! :D

Blue seems a common colour round here, other day saw 3 10 plates on the same road within 5 miles! And it was no where near a skoda dealership. Haven't seen a grey one yet though!!

can people stop calling it grey !!!

:D

Anthracite.

hehe.

I can recommend parking sensors and maxidot.

anthracite (an¦thra|cite)

OnOffPronunciation:/ˈanθrəsʌɪt/noun

[mass noun]

coal of a hard variety that contains relatively pure carbon and burns with little flame and smoke

a dark grey colour

ok it's not grey, it's dark grey :p

As yours appear to have been stolen, I took it upon myself to inform the Police! B)

I'd go for a White or Grey if it was my money!

Anthracite or silver would be my next choice. I went for race blue this time but I'd had an anthracite elegance before so didn't want it again. Yellow is for the brave...

Do yellow's still fade like they did on older models???
