Rolling Road results

Featured Replies

I went to the Help for Heroes event at Gloucester Airport yesterday, as my mate was organising it. Thought I would put the car on the rolling road as it has not been on there for a long time.

Since the last time, its had a PD150 turbo fitted, however no remap to suit the new turbo. Ever since it was fitted, the smokescreen that used to come out the back, has pretty much gone. Ragged it all day yesterday and the exhaust tip is still clean!

What do you guys think about these figures? They are a little lower than I had expected if I'm honest, however as said many times, its about how it drives which is the most important factor. I think the graph looks good, and it seems to be making a decent amount of power and torque all the way up to 5k - is this right?

So results are 169bhp/270lbft. Peak torque is at 2800rpm, and max power at 4000rpm.

BHP is about right, torque seems a little low but will be safe for the car.

Torque does seem a little low, I've looked at other graphs and I am missing the massive spike at around 2k that lots of others have, its all good for the clutch though. I've never had any slip from the clutch, and it does go well. My friend had his Z4 on the dyno as well yesterday, and that made 197bhp, we were on a par around the track

Your car has superb paint for a 2004/2005 car. A real credit to you.

Hi,

Not relevant really but think my mate spoke to you on Saturday at the Glos track day. He was driving a yellow evo 9 340.

Just thought I'd say hi :)

Yeah thats good mate no torque spike = no knackered clutch
