Not mine...but a misplaced badge like that usually indincates a front end smash and a body shop that stuck the replacement badge in the wrong place. Buyer beware!

Look at the front view pic.. the lines on the bonnet (left and right) are nowhere near equal.,. Out by a mile.

This looks like's it's had a smash on the front nearside to me.

That looks like shadows due to the light rather than massively different gaps to me, but I'd still be a bit wary about a car where the badges are in the wrong place

Just looks to me like the bonnet isnt fully closed, gap at the bottom of the grille and i think i see the catch handle sticking out too

i was put off looking at a mk5 golf gti because badges on boot were in wrong place

salesman said it was normal for a used car to have been painted at some point. !!

you can see lift handle poking through grill.

If you go the dealer's website, there is a photo of the engine. I suspect the bonnet wasn't closed properly after taking that picture that's all.

That's impressive, apparently it has a CR engine, not bad for an 07 plate

There is something that doesnt look right about the whole advert.

Noticed that the bonnet had been left open emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

Claimed engine may be correct but for that age of car doesnt quite fit, along with the vRS badge in the wrong place just shouts ' check check check everything '

To have a CR engine it would have had an engine transplant, the CR wasn't available until the second half of 2008. I can't believe it would be as simple as remove PD lump, insert CR replacement...

i think its just a bad advert with the wrong description, the photo of the bonnet to me looks like its not closed right, best thing to do is go and veiw it as pics always make a car look false in my opinion
