I have just bought and fitted Philips VisionPlus +50% bulbs to my Octy. My concern however was that when I removed the old bulbs they are also Philips and were marked pretty much identically to those I had just splashed out on. The only difference I could see is that the old ones have more of a blue tint to them.

I hope this does not mean the car already had +50% bulbs as that would mean the original lamps must have been down right dangerously crap, plus I have just wasted

Usually the 2 types of bulb or lamps the manufactures use are either Phillips or Osram. Osram seems to be the prefered choice for PSA and a few others. I take it Phillips must be good for VAG.
