Spoke to a couple of the sales staff in a Rover garage not long ago and the servce manager too..thay all agreed...it's crap and are embarassed by it.

Hardly selling any of them...wonder why?

Have to agree with you entirely. It really does look a step backwards but is apparently superb to drive...but so was the outgoing..next week..old one.

Now I quite like the Ford Ka, mainly because it looks so different..shame about the antiquated engine they put in it...but have you seen the new one that is coming out next year I think. :eek: Looks like a small version of that other abortion on wheels from FoMoCo..the conFusion. Yuc. :thumbdwn:

ok, heres my dollars worth. mg/rover25, just awful. had 1 as a courtesy car recently and it was nasty, bad plastics, terrible gearchange horrible interior bad engine. nissan almera, gutless pile of poo. smart cars, rwd is only any good if you have power behind it, 45bhp is a waste of time. x3, nuff said. new discovery, 2.7 tons! why? renault megane coupe thingy, just butt ugly and doesnt handle. bmw 1 series, i dont care how good the press think it is, its ugly. toyota corolla, when are toyota going to build an engine that has some torque? chrysler crossfire, eff off. thanks for listening, rant over!

While i won't disagree the Nissna Almera is a nasty car, I can't condemn it outright as it had enough guts to tow my Octavia and me up to at least 35mph to bump start the egine when my starter motor gave out two weeks ago.....

SWMBO loves her Almera ........, but what the hell does she know about cars ........... ,does everything she wants it to do , although I must admit I don't like driving it .

My personal vote must go to the City Rover , have seen one close up in the flesh , and boy are they awful :thumbdwn:

mmm agree with some nominations CityRover anything by Peugeot, but I love the Panda and my 97 Ka2 was the best car I ever had. My absolute worst vehicle of 2004 has to be the hideous and naff X3 though.
