I thought they were nearer to 60mpg, and start at over
Of course you thought that...that's because you weren't in possession of all the facts. :D

And I've spun mine a couple of times' date=' but I've *never* had it understeer.

oh well thats ok then...if you`ve only spun it a couple of times.

Smart? Seems to be designed for those who like to buy 'concepts' - cant see it myself? :o

Doesn't sound like Heebee to me

Yes, driving like a tit and trying to get it "out of shape". Didn't understeer, just spun.

Rob.

So it diddnt show you the limit first?? Semms like a safety design fault then :(

OK, even for
Ah, sorry! I thought we were talking about cars we can actually buy!

And I got mine how...? Besides which, you said you couldn't see the point of the *whole* smart range...

RWD doesn't automatically mean that a car handles well

I never said it did, but it makes it much more interesting than every other FWD euro small car I've driven.

And Devon VRS Man - yes, it did show me the limit, just chose to ignore it... :D

Well, I'm not going to argue with opinions...

But I am still waiting to know which normal car I should've bought instead of the smart which can do eveything it can better. :D

Now now chaps, this isn't a bash the Smart thread you know, just tell us which CURRENT car stands out in your opinion as a bit of a lemon.

Actually I think the Smart looks quite nice and does the job intended..a city car. Only driven one around the car park at Ty Croes...different. :)

Rob...you can read my mind so well. Mystic Mawer! :D Got two grand to spend on an imaginary horrible car now!

I would have to say the fiat multipla is the worst car i have ever seen

You could probably get an entry level CityRover for that imaginary

Those Sang Yong Foos or whatever they're called are supposed to be pretty grim aren't they?

Don't like the image that's starting to surround those Chrysler Crossfires either. Seem to be a bit of a meatheads favourite. What are all those ridges on the bonnet all about too? Looks like a corrogated roof!

Handled like a blamanche and was sluggy slow. Built well though.

Much like the Primera!

What did he make of the C4, incidentally?

Yea, extremely ugly, so much so that it was almost attractive...bit like a few members in here! :D

I've worked on a few very tired looking interiors now though. Just not hardy enough to withstand the rigours that are required for such a vehicle IMHO.

Bring back Bacolite I say. What  I hear most of you say! :D

this is sticking to the thread.promise :) Agreed on the smart four two.Clever little car . Smart four four different matter.Ugly unneccessary fashion car that for a new car looks dated.Agree on the multipla.Makes me want to swerve off the road in shock  . However must must must be the City Rover.I think even Rover people are embarrassed.Worst car 2004 without doubt ;)

My vote goes to the Octavia vRS. Well someone had to say it, to balance out all the anti-Fabia people on this forum. I much prefer the 1.4 ;)

Excellent with the most appealing interior. Reckoned the Pug 307 handled better though. Was suprised how good the Astra was, and how bland the Golf was.

His boss put the first C4 on the road as a demo a couple of weeks ago and decided to take it home the same day.

Had to be towed in the following day apparently. broke down on the motorway  stuck there for over an hour embarassingly

When the techies checked it out, they found it had simply run out of diesel!

The computer however told a different story...60miles to empty, and even the warning light hadn't come on. :thumbdwn: damned bad that.

STOP! We all lurve each others cars really! ;)

Seriously though, the Nissan Primera is awful. In fact so is most of Nissans range. Anything with Daewoo or Kia on the badge is awful as well.

If thats aimed at me, how am I anti-fabia when I have said how much I like the range, notably the 1.4PD... ??
