ASR light staying on - VW Golf V6 4motion

Featured Replies

OVer the last few months my traction control light has been staying on the dashboard display. Generally it would stay on till the engine was warmer then go off once you turned the ignition on and off again. However, yesterday it stayed on all day! I have had a search on here and uk-mkivs but couldn't find any real answers. Some people are saying the MAF sensor could be to blame. Any suggestions?

Possible but need to do a fault code check.

If you want it scanning let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Are you sure you will have enough hours in the day!! IIRC there wasn't exactly a shortage of fault codes last time you helped me out!!

However, I would be EXTREMELY gratefull if you could do something for me again. What do you drink? I will make sure I bring something with me this time!!

Drop me a PM and I'll try and sort you out.

Depending on how you're fixed I might even be able to do it tomorrow with a bit more of a drive.
