Yeah, iPhone 4, but as I use the tomtom app, I just need the aux in input

oh rite yeah i've got the same problem i was going to suggest one of them things that you tune into your radio frequency if you wanted it for music.

I'd love to know too. Need to find a way of getting my iPod running through the stereo, sick of CDs and iTrips

If you're prepared to sacrifice* your CD-changer (if you have one) then you might want to try a Connects2 adapter:

http://www.lowcostcaraudio.co.uk/lcca/mia/d/connects2+ctvskx001+skoda+fabia+octavia+aux+adapter/pid/7313862/

The adapter plugs into the CD-changer socket in the back of the headunit and provides a 3.5mm jack input that you can plug into the headphone socket of your iPod/any other mp3 player.

It fools the HU into thinking it's still playing the cd-changer output, so you just switch to the cd-changer channel on the HU to get the sound from the mp3 player.

I've fitted an equivalent one to my Octavia's Stream and it works fine, you just need to find somewhere behind the stereo to earth it to.

*with some cable fiddling and a cable switch it's possible and keep both, but once you've got the mp3 player plugged in the cd-changer becomes pretty redundant anyway, so not worth the bother IMO.

Can anyone point out what cable really works? Hoping to find the aux in cable for my symphony, but don't need any SD card readers etc. Just the AUX in. Need it for car computer sound input.

Also as I have not had any cd-changers in the skoda, then I don't understand how AUX in for this should work. When I press button to play from CD, then will it play from CD inside the Symphony and when I want to use AUX in I need to press some other button, or how does it work?
