Mk1 or mk2? and how big is your budget. £35 for a panel K&N or £12k+ on a 400bhp+ monster turbo engine rebuild......

Start with RARB, Dogbone and throttle body clean makes the most of what youv'e got, then do a search for whatever you want to do next.

Mk1..... Starting from the bottom and working up..

Induction kit

Remap

?

?

Engine wise then:

Panel filter (k&n, green cotton or piper)

Turbo intake pipe (samco)

Forge 007 dump valve

2.5" or 3" downpipe with performance cat

2.75" cat-back system (milltek)

Front mount intercooler

Remap - do this last as you will get the extra benefit of any modifications done.

Chassis wise:

Rear anti roll bar

Poly bushes (front wishbones & dogbone engine mount)

Audi S3 bottom suspension brace

Coilovers (weitec or KW are best)

I have put these lists in order of priority (IMO)

Just noticed......... I would get the cat back system before the downpipe (idealy get both at the same time).

If at any point you intend to go big turbo (ko4, gt28, IHI, gt30 or owens gt30 hybrid) it might be worth NOT getting the downpipe as they're expensive and they wouldn't be transferable to the bigger turbo/exhaust housing.

How does the Forge Splitter R Recirculating Blow Off Valve 1.8T compare to the 007p DV?

Also whats your thoughts on the forge forced air induction kit or isthere better for the money?

Where can i get a turbo intake pipe from? cant find one :(
