Featured Replies

Thanks for the info fabdavrab, but I'm not sure what you mean about the hatch lever. Maybe you mean for the fabia. My Octavia doesn't have one.

Another confirmation that this works. I couldn't believe my luck on this actually. I'd bought a 3 button remote years ago as the metal hook for the key ring had broken on my original one. So I'd robbed the back cover and just put it in the cupboard, but all the electrics were still all there. Reprogrammed it as the instructions and hey what do you know! As mentioned, I need to hold the boot button for 2 seconds to unlock, boot relocks when closed, and it even relocks itself after so long if the boot isn't opened after unlocking it. Brilliant.

it's not really that new a discovery. People have been replacing their 2 button remotes with 3 button remotes for years. Works with various VAG not just Skoda. I've easily done 100+ to 2002-04 mk4 Golfs, 2002-06 Leons etc over the last couple of years. Basically most VAG that use a 2 button 1J0959753CT or AG remote can use a 3 button 1J0959753DA or AH remote

VThat may be the case buddy yeah but I've just recently found out about it. So I just thought I would post and let people know. I'm sure there may still be someone out there who doesn't know about it.
