Porsche Rims - Will they fit Octavia VRS

Featured Replies

Does anyone know just how wide you go go in terms of rear wheels on a Mk2 VRS Octavia as i've got my eyes on some Porsche GT2 wheels but the rears are 10 x 18 wide.

I know the arches are big but will they fit or do they need work??????

Any help is much appreciated!!!

Cheers

Aren't Porsche wheels 130 PCD?

If so they you will need adapters to reduce this down to 112 PCD, you also need to know what the ET the wheels are - personally i can't see 10" wide rims fitting though, but i may be wrong.

Are you taking about putting wider wheels on the back of a front wheel drive car? That would look a bit silly IMHO.

If you do this pleeeeeeeease give us some photos

10J x 18??????? I don't think you've got a snowballs chance in hell of getting them under the arches!

Alright it was a slightly stupid idea after seeing them on a website at a great price. Not so great when you add in the cost of adaptors etc and the stupid price of rear tyes.

Never mind, back to the drawing board!!!!!

With a lot of these sort of wheels you need to make up a set of 4 of the front width ones.

There's a black Belgian Octy2 combi running Porsche rims. Looks pretty good.

10J on an Octy2 with adapters though? Serious arch pull and massive tyre stretch. B) In fact, thinking about the construction / shape of the rear of the arches, it's just not happening. :p

I would like to see some pictures of that if you know how?

Now then - if you are going to dis me you could at least get my name right :dull:

You're only jealous of my flair and creativity :p

Those Porsche rims are horrible anyway

that car is horrible..

would have been better with a set of 4x fronts rather than try to stretch for those 10" rears..

Not thinking of changing from your R8's then? :giggle:

Nope :)

Quick google.. i saw these about a year ago on the french forum. Look ok, but a bit "wannabe" for me.

From the look of these, i'm guessing these are four fronts. There is no way those are 10" rears!

There's a Norwegian guy running 9.5J rears ( 225/35 tyres iirc), but they're native 112PCD, ET48. Those are the biggest I know of on an Octy 2.

Yes they will mine are 10j on the rear with 20mm adapters you will need some stretch on the rear

It would look good but serve no purpose beyond looks...
