4x4s with ko3s turbos map really well, but as said will be better than an octavia 4x4 (or not) with a ko3,

blocks are more or less the same, the difference is the turbos and the maps, limitations with the ko3 are not seen on the ko3s hence why my friends 4x4 is almost as quick as my vrs

Yes , I have been told , the 150 DBW is all but the same as the 180 DBW , I have always had my doubts going back to the other tuning compat I worked at , that was a Revo dealer , then Custom Code

But hey........

But that car has the stage 2 , and then was PX`d by a company that wanted to boast a bit OTT on the mods , and did advertise it somewhere as having the same engine as an S3 so that would mean a KO4

which seems to suggest from 2000 the K03s was fitted . So I guess my car will have the right turbo and therefore the dyno printout is about right.

I am also going to order a nice 1.6 badge to go on the boot lol

I've bumped into this car and it's previous owner before at Awesome GTi. I sat and chatted to him for ages while my clutch/flywheel was being changed.

I seem to remember he was having a fault code looked at, no idea what though. Enjoy the car, should be a beasty!

yeah, wasn't it something along the lines of KKK superceded the K03 with the K03s (or VAG started using the K03s instead of the K03) right around the time the Octavia got a facelift, which is also when the vRS was released? the whole 150bhp = K03, 180bhp(etc) = K03s thing was just a load of bs?
