Bulb Advice

Featured Replies

I want some bulbs for my main and dipped beam that give off a blue reflection in the lens when they are unlit, mainly because I have Osram Diadem indicators and want them to match. I dont want anything really dark, just a subtle look. Does anyone have a recommendation that arent very expensive?

Try going to a 6000K HID - they are slightly blue tint.

Doesn't night-breakers have a blue tinge when not lit up..? White when lit.

Here you go, A pair of main beam bulbs and a pair of dipped beam bulbs for

just over a score all in. They also will be shipped with matching blue xenon style sidelight bulbs

(if you specify those when ordering...) They are their own brand bulbs and are a decent firm to do business with.

Although I usually use them for wiper blades myself. These represent value for money and a subtle styling enhancement.

I am not trying to tell you they are the best bulbs going.

All three sets of bulbs for 21 quid delivered.

You can easily spend that on one pair.

Hope to help.

I would imagine Philips Blue Vision bulbs will be blue when off. They will also look whiter then on. However remember they will not be as bright as 50%+ or higher bulbs, as no covering will produce more light.

NightBreakers at certain angles will look blue as parts (not all) of the bulb is blue when off, also as only because of the clear parts they will be brighter then full blue bulbs. They are designed to give 90% more light than standard.
