Hello. My turn signal lights flashes only ones in the mode where they should flash 3 times. I would like to solve this because it is bothering me. Mine fabia is 2003, 1.9 tdi, estate.

I think this is only possible on the facelift fabia from 2005 onwards???

Yep. My 54-plate does this, but my wife's 51-plate doesn't. Sorry.

They didn't add that feature till later than your model. My mates 54 plate vRS does it, where as my 53plate doesn't. Iirc it's not even possible to change it with vagcom.

My 04 vRS has the feature, but my mums 53 plate Fabia does not. I do miss it when I drive her car, I find it very useful when overtaking.

The only way to do it is to operate the stark half way and keep your finger in it, so it flashes 3 times.

If you are really really wanting to "sort" your mum's car out I am sure that there is a German company that supply a retro fit kit that achieves this in another way - it was made available for early VAG cars - ie Golf MK4, Boro and B5 Passat, I got that kit as a birthday present but ended up buying the proper VW retro fit kit when it appeared on ebay! (kits uses power FETs I seem to remember and hides out of sight)

Might just not be enabled on your car get someone with VCDS to have a play around to see if they can enable it and get anti hijack put on while your there

It does not bother me as I don't drive it much. By choice I always use mine. She has never driven mine, so does not know of the feature. BTW it's a 2003 (53) 1.9TDI Fabia Comfort.

The only time I find the feature annoying is if the indicators do not self cancel and you press it too far.
