It's a decent price though and already has leather... going to give the chap a call as a compromise on colour for a good deal isn't a daft idea.

Spoke to the chap, seems quite straight - a couple of known light scratches on the boot and I guess it's due straight away for a cambelt and water pump at just over 4 years and 59000 miles (it might have been done but probably not).

So, I did the unthinkable and actually paid a deposit on a car I haven't seen at the other end of the country. Either a very smart thing, or a moderately daft one. I have run a check on the car though and it comes up clean.
