Folding rear view mirrors

Featured Replies

The driver's side rear view mirror on my Superb does not fold in as far as the other side. When in the folded position, the driver's side is about 2 inches further out than the other side. Is this standard or an issue for me? emoticon-0112-wondering.gif

Definitely an issue as my drivers side mirror only sticks out 1 1/2 " more than the nearside!! :giggle: I'm sure they're all the same!

Took my 'folding drivers mirror' problem to my Skoda dealer yesterday. Bit of hand wringing and looking at other Superbs on the lot and announced 'seemed normal'. Seems bloody abnormal to me but hard to argue with the dealer particularly as its warranty and I didn't have any dollars on display.

They fixed another problem though. My alarm has been sounding at night and I asked the dealer to de-sensitise' it a little. The dealer didn't know how to do that however he downloaded new software from Skoda and re-programmed the alarm. I am now in the testing mode!! emoticon-0112-wondering.gif
