what make would the more knowledgdable members on here recommend and is it ewasy to feed the bleed pipe through the dash to the back of the gauge?

Autometer oil-filled are what I've had on several of my turbo cars, as they give a very accurate and stable reading, and most of the models have a peak boost recall feature which looks cool.

Expensive though... expect to pay

I would agree with Des about the Pivot gauge. The tubing supplied just about reaches if its located next to the A pillar. The green lighting also matches the instruments. Jabba said it was accurate.

I think my gauges are DEFInately nicer

I'm looking for a boost gauge aswell. I would prefer an 'all-in-one' unit with Boost oil and volts and want it to sit under the stereo. Needs to be 4bar tho

HAd a chat with Jbs and they have a digital boost gauge (james's car I think) so I may go for that but I wanted some choice...ideas/pics please

Defi do a DIN size unit with 3 gauges mounted in it but you'll also need the control unit and as its DEFI it probably won't be cheap.

i'm sure if you search Google you'd come accross something.

I wish Mike at IP would get his act together and register, he's got loads of gauges and pods.

surely you are thinnking of a 4bar fpr with apprpriate map and not 4bar of pressure in the turbo, this is about 60 psi. would blow it to pieces!

I've got Defi's in mine - oil pressure, oil temp and boost. 3 guages mounted by windscreen. Can't see the point in mounting gauges under the stereo - try driving in your car and then looking down to see what your gauges are doing without crashing! If it's just for cosmetic purposes then that's fine...

yeah but how many times would you need to look at your boost gauge!!

hardly ever look at mine, just on the odd time i look at it now!

being under the stereo aint that bad!

I guess for me its just for looks tbh. I dont really like the guages that 'nail' onto the dash (just my opinion). I wanna keep the dash clear (already have roadangel2) and as I dont use the storage under the stereo I thought it would keep the car looking neat if the guages were there. Pillar mounted guages look ok too but I worry that they could cut into my visability. Still no pics?
