Featured Replies

Hi guys,

As some of you know i am doing my own pipe work for my seat sport FMIC on the vrs, (from turbo back)(no leaks  )

Havnt yet ordered my intercooler but have bent the stainless pipe work,

Im wanting to order all the hoses whilst im waiting and cant find out the outside diametre of the intercooler outlet

Any help would be great

Cheers

Harry

I've got a feeling its 64mm :S

but don't quote me on that!!

its either that or 57mm....

so your after either 64mm > 50mm

or 57mm > 50 mm

I'd gamble on the 64mm though

Lol cheers mate, it's supposed to be here on Friday so I'm probably just gunna wait and measure it me self.

I'll try and get a pic of the long 90 elbow I bent for u.

Another quickie, does the MAF sensor have to be directly in the flow of air?

Ah spot on bud!

Maf is on air filter?

I assume u mean map sensor? Mass air pressure? Thats on the intercooler piping down by the drivers headlight, you'll have to make up a fancy bracket for it to house it on one of the boost pipes! Go onto forge uk and have a look at there map sensor boost pipes for a rough idea
