Featured Replies

Hi can anyone recommend a good refurbisher are mobile outfits any good?My wheels are not curbed or corroded, but i have managed to polish through the laquer back to primer in a few places:mad:.Basically poor original finish not enough laquer from the factory!!!so looking for a complete refurb to all 4 wheels.

I'm in somerset so basically don't want to travel to the ends of the earth, any advice greatly app thanks

If you can get down to Exeter, I'd recommend the plastic surgeon on Marsh Barton Industrial Estate! :D Not used them yet, but heard nothing but good things about them with regards to tinting windows and refurbing alloys.

Do you know if they have the facilities to mount/dismount tyres?as i know someone who had just the face resprayed and within no time at all the paint started to peel around the rim.Maybe i should have said i want a complete refurb,as the finish isn't top notch. Also any ideas on prices?

Thanks for the swift reply

Thanks for the swift reply[/quote']I believe they do, but reckon they'd charge a tenner per wheel for that service. Suspect they'd have to get it rebalanced after too? Their best value refurb is about

I had one of mine done by ChipsAway after it had a brief fraternisation with a kerb. Looks like new again for 40 squids.
