Andrew

As I changed all 20 of my wheel nut covers today I have 4x spare locking nut covers, let me know how many you want

How much did it cost to change them? My Octy does not have any :'(

£5 delivered from a guy on Detailing World, genuine VAG covers, shorter than the originals but they look great and have a speckled appearance like flakes, he is a member on here as well, don't know if he's got any left though

Just found out that he hasn't got any silver sets left , apparently they're rare, but he reckons he's got a grey set

Wow.... that is cheap. I had a feeling my dealer wanted something like £2-£3 per cap.....

How does one remove them? On my 306, it came with a tool to place over and pull, but the octy ones almost look like the careful use of a screwdriver would get them off?

They came with a removal tool like this...............

http://www.zakparts.com/shop/article_104/Removal-Tool-for-Grey-Audi-Caps-(as-above).html?sessid=9xLJrQ3TQnD9NjKcZ0fUCSJIoOfQ37YuyVPvppDvvKO8HA8j4TmJQNHzryiqFJiZ&shop_param=cid%3D2%26aid%3D104%26

but I've got a Vauxhall removal tool which removes them more easily, it's cylindrical and pushes over the cap. clicks over the head, you then just pull them straight off

New set of 4 VAG locking wheel nuts cost £15 from the stealers last year , which is suprisingly cheap.

Don't suppose you've got any left ?

I need one as well if you want another £2

I got one from the dealer last week but it's a stumpy, dark grey one, and all the rest of mine are long, light grey/silver ones.

If yours are the long ones and you've still got one… ?

Is yours for the locking nut ?
