Hi, As title suggests, does anyone know of any reputable company that retrofits leather interiors?

I can remember there being a thread on here somewhere but if anyone knows who I'd be very grateful.

Skoda still do the £1400 accessory option but seem to remember that there was a company doing the same kit and a lot cheaper.

Seat Surgeons in York

Hope that Helps

As mentioned, Seat Surgeons in York have done lots of Fabia leather re-trims - but possibly some Octy's too.

Here is the thread for the Group Buy I organised - there's loads of pictures of their work in it.

Don't worry if they aren't local to you - just make a day out of it. Arrive early morning, leave the car with them while they drop you off for a few hours sight-seeing in York. The car will be ready early afternoon and you'll love every minute of the drive home.

ive been thinking about getting mine done aswell has anyone else got any pics of octavia vrs that have been done

take your partner and stay for the weekend..its a lovely city

Or see what a local seat re trimmer can do.

I seem to remember some threads saying that the Seat Surgeons leather designs are made in china and fitted in the UK (although I'm willing to be corrected)

They are made up in China and Sear Surgeons actually own the factory so quality control is very strict.

Transform Leather based in Rotherham, who have retrimmed many Hondas amongst others, have/use a factory in Malaysia.

Same for me and I had lunch in 'Betty's' - I'd never heard of it until visiting York but apparently it is very well known (Harrogate & York) and really top class. Great old fashioned type service. Went round the Minster and the Railway Museum but run out of time - so much to see and do in York - lovely city.

Car 67, Car 67, Come in 67...

When I had my Fabia vRS I'm sure I saw a sticker for www.auto-trim.co.uk on the bottom of the leather seats which was one of the bottlenecks in their delivery. Might have been something similar, but definetely auto-something .co.uk

Now, I want you to pick up an old lady from 83 Royal Gardens......

Seat surgeons have got my business.

Really impressed with the quality and Tonys Elegance looks fantastic.

All I need now is the :dull::dull: car to fit it into.

4 months down and only 3 to go !!!!!!!!!!!

Car 67 by Driver 67

December1978 sung by Paul Phillips

When I worked in Birmingham I bumped into a Smurf who had defected (he was more of a fan of The Ruts too) and became a taxi driver who used to race Driver 67 for fares he'd overheard on 87.1FM. He'd also lost his Dutch accent somewhat and had a weekend job as a mascot for ...you guessed it...the Blues.

Back then, my schoolmate told us he was previously at school with the son of "Jimmy James and the Vagabonds" - but we never believed him....
