My interior parts

Featured Replies

Having followed an "09" Greenline version of my car home today, I noticed it seemed to have a lot of chrome trim parts inside which looked quite good.

Just wondering if I can order these parts as spares from Skoda?

Also thinking of getting the coffee coloured interior too or would this be hideously expensive to get???

just get some 3m chrome tape, it will look good and oem looking on the line around the dash gpoing upwards at each end towards the pillars

It was the whole panel around each air vent, appeared to be either chrome or silver painted.

Already on a mission to make my Furby a bit more unique - having discovered by using the Skoda Configurator that the dealership had ordered a car with NO options at all on it!!!

i don't think it's chrome, it's 'aluminium' finish plastic. looks a bit cheap to me.

just want to brighten up my very black interior!

Wish I had been able to have the much nicer half tan half black interior!

My old 3 had that trim, looks better from a distance! New interior is much better to live with.

It is plastic aluminium lookalike. They have it on the following:

Door opening levers

Door closing handles

Air vents

Gearstick lever

Gearstick surround

speedo and rev counter surround

Does highlight these nicely to make them quick to use. I think you should be able to order the parts or find a scrapper somewhere, like eBay.

Also, I posted a thread a short while ago, about a nice chrome ring that goes around the light switch, costing around £8 posted, from an eBay seller.

Also, I have spotted a nice chrome ring for the mirror control switch but yet to purchase one. The seller also had a cover/cap with a knurled look, for the same switch!

I am looking into some Skoda logo's that can be placed on the climate control and stereo volume control dials!

Keep up the good work, I read your thread on the rings, and the way you keep finding these items people will be wanting them as a group buy :giggle:

yeah, i am grateful for the part number for the sun glasses holder.

whats the item number for the chrome ring?

oh I will look that up, seems like quite a few shiny bits for the car are available then - I was having a play on the car configurator and when you spec the two-tone interior it looks like there is a silver trim line that runs along the dash to sepaerate the black part and the tan part so off to Skoda today to see if I can find out the part name.

Go on ebay and type in transporter chrome ring. You should find an identical ring one to nearly all VW etc, circular switch rings!

This picture looks better than the caddy one but i have asked the seller if he is going to put up the Fabia one as peeps are interested!

Yes thats the look I was going for - the Skoda Car Configurator for UK spec cars lists the only other colour option from the black I currently have as being a quite nice tan coloured leather interior. Might be something I put in my car, all depends on what happens in a few months time!

if you're good at doing cars up i see no reason why you cn't spray it or get the interior coloured professionally

On ebay ther are dahsboard kits available for the Fabia 2 and you can choose how much or how little you use of them. I agree with you, the FL dashboard needs livening up and if I ever replaced mine with an FL I would do the same.

I have now added a link to the seller on the original thread about the chrome ring. I will put it here too, for convenience. B)

thanks for showing us how the chrome surround for the light switch looks. i think i'm going to save my hard earned money on that. although if anyone know's if they do chrome surrounds for the heater controls i'd be interested depending on price

I hadn`t actually looked at the prices but I suppose its about average.

Found a company in the back of one of the weekly car mags that does re-trims and they can do them in pretty much any colour so might be getting it re-done!

The other thing I was thinking is colour coding myself using folio tec products
