Well wifey got me a private plate for my 30th, Obviously I have to tell you guys it's changing. Is it gonna cost me anything on my premium? or fees??

if the plate was purchased direct from the DVLA then all the transfer fees are included, otherwise its £80 to transfer the plate onto your car.

You then have to get the road tax sorted, get new plates made up and tell the insurance company that the plate has changed.

cheers it's the insurance side i'm asking about, wether they will sting me for an admin fee or anything like that.

They proberbly will as its a policy change.
