water leaking from passenger side

Featured Replies

Hi All,

i recently bought skoda superb green line this may 2010. 2 months back one morning i noticed water leaked from passanger side just under dash board and the water leaked from the corner of the wheel frame. when noticed water got collected under the padding and it came down as small cascade. after little bit of cleaning the water stopped coming. the i took it to my dealer and he couldnt find the reason for that. but he told me that he checked the whole pollen filter and confirmed everything was Ok. Again last week it was raining and there was small leak happened again. Also this happened when ever i parked my car in my slope drive way. Have you guys experianced this problem before. please advice me in relation to this. i am going for 6 weeks holiday this winter and i am worried about rain and leaking> please advice me the reason for the leak from your experiance.

Water looked like very crystal clear.

Please advice in relation to this.

thanks in advance.

Don't drive it in the sea Paddy :giggle:

Seriously though mate, first look is under the wiper panel for leaves and debris, also was the rain torrential or normal, also something else to check with the dealer, ask if there are more than one drain, and if so where are they, if it's the same as the Passat it only has one in the drivers side wing, so for now park it so the water can run to that side, the only other thing comes to mind, is it's running off the roof down the windscreen and finding it's way in through something that should be sealed and diverting it off the car, so ask them to check the screen area carefully, hth.

p.s sorry about the Paddy joke, but it seemed fitting, ;)
