HI

I am trying to test HHO cell on Fabia Diesel model in India i just 2 month ago. I fitted the cell and water tank and everything working fine,. I want some technical help on that according to lot of website i need to adjust EFIE level of O2 sensor that comes in catalytic converter on exhaust because HHO producing more oxygen that will detect in exhaust if O2 sensors is fitted that fuel will be lean but i am not sure diesel engine of fabia comes with O2 sensors in exhaust . I checked but did not find anywhere.

Can anyone confirm skoda fabai diesel comes with O2 sensors in exhaust ?

A diseasel engine works buy burning fuel in excess air (has no throttle valve), so an oxygen sensor is not required and not fitted.

It is only petrol engines (especially ones with catalysts) that have this O2 (lambda) sensor(s). I know that the petrol Fabia has at least one sensor in the exhaust and some Fabias have 2 (before and after the cat).

I know petrol engine has one or two O2 sensor in the exhaust but i am confused over diseasel engine. Some says in newer model of some companies are fitting O2 sensor in dieseal engine also like GM motor.

This might help explain what they do, but, sorry I don't know about latest Fabias. Ours are too old for such magic.

If you Google - oxygen sensor in diesel exhaust - there is a lot of information on other makes which might help and some VW TDI stuff.

I have not read any threads on here about these sensors and there is no mention of them for diesel Fabias in the Haynes Manual.

I wonder if diesels with Particulate Filters (DPFs) have these sensors? I know these filters are not fitted to the Mk1 Fabia.
