Well after what seems to have been a lifetime wait, I finally get to collect my new vRS Octavia this coming Friday.

Sorted out all the insurance switch over this afternoon. Done!

Its not been anywhere near as long as some of the poor folks on here who have been waiting an eternity. :'(

Guess I was quite fortunate. No DSG or Diesel has sped things up.

Ordered from Dealer on August 2nd. The build week came forward by about three-four weeks.

Really gonna miss my current vRS (Race Blue 2008 petrol hatch) as its been a gem of a car. Love the colour.

Off work this weekend so will no doubt be out and about getting a feel for the new motor.

Moved from there when i was a lot younger LOL, although worked in Stockport for 2 years up to 18 months ago, was nice to visit a few places my parents used to frequent.
