How do I tell which flavour engine I have on my Fabia VRS? BLT or ASZ?

Mine's an '04 model.

Cheers! I had a vague memory that it was age related from reading various threads on here about 'BLT hesitation'.

For anybody that is unsure, there should be asticker with a large barcode in the front of the service book. The engine code is contained within this barcode. IIRC it's at the end.

On that note i also think theres a sticker in the boot under the carpeted floor that has the engine code on, mines behind the spare wheel well on the left IIRC...bout 2 years since I last looked though.
