That is of course the white wrap put on the factory to stop bird poo from damaging the car!

It'll come off when I take delivery

If it was a permanent white colour then they've painted over the skoda sign on the boot

Because it's actually a basic model and the sales managers has just been out with a badge to rectify it

Thanks! I went for curtain airbags, maxidot, MD I+ ipod cable, spare wheel, and front and rear parking sensors, plus the xenons and the leather.

Really annoyed I could not add auto dimming mirroe to my order, though... (I phoned my dealer literally 2 days after ordering to add it, and they said sorry the spec cannot be modified now).

The leather was forced on me, because I thought the original seats were awful (in terms of the white patch on the seats becoming discoloured and dirty over time, as I have a 4 year old!).

The leather in all honesty is not the best quality - the leather in the limited ediction vRS (with white stitching) that I test drove was miles better, I thought.

I'm glad I bought new - it will depreciate of course, but for me it's worth the peace of mind to know exactly how the car has been treated from day 1. I plan to keep this car for at least 7-8 years, all being well. It is all the car that I need. It is really a superb package.
