Car is getting mapped tonight by a friends friend who works at VW, he rekons its going to be around 175-180bhp... This seems a bit high for standard components :-\ Am i being silly or should i be ordering some spare parts quick?

my mates 130 pd bora came out at 172 bhp mate only thing that went on that was the turbo

The standard KKK turbo is pants!! Iv replaced a **** load of KKK turbo's after having remaps, and a brand new KKK turbo is £1200 plus gaskets ect, plus a new cat and exhaust system if it fills with oil!! better replacing the KKK with the 150PD turbo!

I fitted 3 turbo's to one guys fabia in the space of 2 years after a remap, he drove it hard like, but my standard fabia vrs did over 120k when i sold it with no issues! So beware after a remap the standard turbo will b screamin at u for mercy!

Yes, because that's no big deal...

Depends on your driving style really. Don't boot it from cold, don't floor it in a high gear at low rpms, that sort of thing.
