Very nice! Especially the tinted windows in combination with the dark colour, gives it a somewhat "sportscar" like appearence

Looks awesome!

Love it! - Looks like a black version of mine!

How is yours? Can't wait to get into mine. emoticon-0148-yes.gif

How much are they charging to fit the cadaver platform in it? :giggle:

Mines going really well, 4x4 170, with over 7,500 trouble-free, quick, easy, comfortables miles on now.

It's not as economical as i would have hoped, but that's not really an issue - expect early 40's under normal circumstances (a bit of everything) - expect early-mid 30's if driving hard...

that being said, it's doing exactly what i bought it for (mainly a HUGE boot and a nice ride with 4x4) very well, and i have no complaints.

The Thermisto alloys are not the easiest wheels to keep clean, but here we are almost 6 months from purchasing it, and they are still spot-less inside and out with no kerb-marks. - i have picked up a set of Luxon alloys, new in boxes unwated from a dealer, and have fitted winter tyres to them, which will go onto the car next month (Luxon are Thermisto's with a few more spokes - yes, they look even harder to clean!)

Paintwork is excellent, and interior is fab. - climate control seems to be a bit out sometimes - think it's to do with the sensor on the dash. the leather is lovely, soft but not too soft, and the heated seats are great - the heat is in the right place! - elec mem drivers seat is great, the lumber support can be placed almost anywhere.

Cruise control is a joy, and it's smooooth as silk.

erm.... think that's about it...!

It's not the coughin' that carries you off... It's the coffin they carry you off in.

Now I'm really jealous as my car was also build week 40 and I've been waiting since I placed the order on 5th June 2010 :(

Spoke to the dealer and so far it hasn't arrived with them yet but they said that Skoda had informed them that they would like it to be registered before the end of the month!

Really looking forward to enjoying the car as much as the rest of the people here seem to enjoy their cars.

It will be interesting to hear what you think of the CR140 engine; we seem to be going against the trend for the CR170. :) Hopefully I'm only three weeks behind.

Best regards

David

I've had my CR140 for 3 weeks now and am really impressed. I've swapped from an A4 with the 140 PD engine, and the new CR is head and shoulders above. I was a little concerned that the 140 may seem a little underpowered in such a big car, but it's not!

And to top it all, I'm getting 53+ mpg on my commutes to London, with the cruise control sat at 70.

All in all, no regrets over engine and gearbox choice. :)

Thats sounds very promising. On paper the once the advantages of the DSG had been factored in, perfomance-wise the Superb CR140 was effectively no different to my current Honda Accord CR140. However only having access to Superb CR170 demonstrators (which were fantastic), like you I have been a little concerned I had made the correct choice.

Thanks for the feedback.

Best regards

David

Your dealer can check online where exactly your car is. ie at Emden, on the sea, at the UK dock or on transporter to the dealership. Ask them to check. Good luck. Phil. emoticon-0148-yes.gif

very nice, the sunset glass looks cool on the superb estate
