bought one of these off ebay but you can see the connection type, this doesnt match a direct fit into the fabia, anyone fitted one of these? how did you overcome the wiring?

Has it got a really long wire? Looks like it plugs into

the stereo directly?? Running the wire to the stereo will be a pain!!

Can you get a refund? The VAG sharkfin is probably a better bet.

Not least because the square cut out in the roof panel will fit the aerial base correctly

and prevent it from turning once in position.

Not much help to you I know, but the VW one is sort of compatible with the Fabias plug.

You have to remove the plastic clip fitting assembly arond the connection on the aerial

and then tape the plugs together in the car for some added support of the connection.

Mine works fine in London but out in the countryside I get the odd crackle.

Depends on If it's just a styling thing at the end of the day and reception doesn't matter.

Or do you want form with function?
